My Role on Taps to Riches:
I designed every aspect of Taps to Riches to be more fun and approachable than the competition in the marketplace. I worked with my team on every inch of the game from the smallest user interface interaction to the largest feature.
Innovated in the idle game genre and caused many competitors to react by copying features or outright attempting to clone the game.
Collaborated with game design team to design and document the launch version of Taps to Riches
Shortly after launch I took over all game design responsibilities
Mentored junior game designers in feature design, content design, and live-ops design, helping them to deliver successful game updates.
Designed & balanced a wide variety of live-ops events to keep players engaged without causing burnout in engagement or monetization.
Designed the blueprint for the company's live-ops implementation that was used across multiple future games. Coordinated with other game teams to ensure pitfalls were avoided and successful strategies were translated into their games.
Designed & balanced 70+ business buildings and 1000+ collectible characters with a wide variety of special abilities, while ensuring that proper economy pacing was maintained.
Continuously monitored analytics to ensure the health of the game and to find areas of focus for future improvement.
Designed dozens of monetization features, large and small, that continuously uplifted monetization KPIs across all revenue channels.
Led several substantial overhauls of the game’s business economy to change the progression pacing which led to substantial improvements across a variety of engagement KPIs.
Delivered significant monetization growth across all channels by iterating on the value, content, placement, and communication of IAP, rewarded video, offerwall, cross-promotions.
Collaborated with all departments to design and implement Live-Ops systems and content months in advance to ensure players always had fresh new content.
Continuously iterated on the new user experience to improve user comprehension and early player lifecycle engagement metrics.
